"LIVA Art grew from a simple truth — my deepest professional joy has always been working with artists".

Each collaboration is a dialogue, a moment of trust, and a shared risk that something meaningful can emerge.

I founded LIVA Art as a way to give that dialogue a shape. It’s a platform for artists at the beginning of their journey — those who are still finding their path, building their voice, or searching for opportunities beyond their local scene.

Through exhibitions, residencies, and collector collaborations, I aim to create real conditions for artists to grow — not only to be seen, but to keep creating. Every project, lecture, or partnership I take on feeds back into this mission. Supporting artists isn’t a side activity; it’s the centre of what I do in LIVA Art, and the most rewarding part of it.

ALEXANDRA ZHUKOVA

Founder

Alexandra is an art consultant and art manager. Having worked for more than nine years as an executive assistant in a corporate business, she decided to follow her passion for art and in 2016 completed her education in Sotheby's Institute of Art, London. She consulted private collectors and worked with interior design companies helping select and purchase art from around the world.

In 2020 she became the founder of her first own art project - LILI&VAVA Gallery in Moscow (2020-2022). Over two years the project helped to discover young artists working with textile art, ceramics, glass and metal, and held six group exhibitions.

LIVA Art is the successor of the project in Moscow, though completely new. Having chosen Portugal as a new home, Alexandra is committed to work with local artists and international artists who immigrated to Portugal, like herself.  She is integrating herself in the local art scene and is eager to share this experience with others. Being an avid life-time learner, she currently continues her education as an MA in Art Markets student in ISCTE, Lisbon.
